The National Lacrosse Conference announced its All-Conference teams and major awards on Saturday evening at the league’s annual awards banquet on the campus of Davidson College. High Point’s Mackenzie Carroll and Jacksonville’s Rachel Hannon were named Co-Players of the Year and they earned top attacker and defender honors, respectively. Also earning top position honors were High Point’s Christie Dougherty (midfield) and Anna Wallingford (goalie) and Jacksonville’s Holly Ventimiglia (newcomer). Panthers hang on to beat Davidson in NLC semifinals
The High Point University women’s lacrosse team got three goals from sophomore midfielder Sara Kuhlman and survived a late five-goal run by Davidson to win, 13-11, in the National Lacrosse Conference Tournament semifinals on Saturday at Richardson Stadium in Davidson, N.C. Fucigna Sets Points Record, Davidson Women’s Lacrosse Tops Longwood 19-9
